Add a place with its Instagram link

Any place on Instagram works, anywhere in the world: a café, a beach, a neighborhood, a whole city or state. We check it on Instagram and add it to Place Finder, usually within a few hours.

On a computer

Open a post tagged at the place on instagram.com.
Click the place name under the username.
Copy the address from your browser. It looks like
instagram.com/explore/locations/106224666074625/austin-texas/

On your phone

Open a post tagged at the place in the Instagram app.
Tap the place name above the photo.
Tap ⋯ (or the share icon), then Copy link.

Tip: for a whole city, state or country, pick the tag with the most posts. You can also paste this link straight into Step 2b: Track locations in Instagram Auto Liker.
